Frequently asked questions
How do I know if my headaches are cervicogenic?
Cervicogenic headaches typically start at the base of the skull or neck and radiate forward. They're often one-sided, worse with sustained postures, and may improve briefly with neck movement. A physiotherapy assessment can help determine the source.
Can physio help with migraines?
Physiotherapy can help with migraine triggers related to the neck and jaw, and may reduce frequency in some patients. For primary migraines, we work alongside your GP or neurologist.
How many sessions does it take to see improvement?
Many patients with cervicogenic headaches see meaningful improvement within 3–6 sessions. We'll give you a realistic timeframe at your first appointment.
